@Tyrell Johnson I do agree with you on the idea of getting older and the difficulty of singing and dancing at the same time, but in many songs like You Are Not Alone, Stranger In Moscow, Dangerous, black Or White, and many other song could have been sung live though he had laryngitis, his voice was stable in most of HIStory Tour concerts except for Prague and Munich so far as I know

@@anthonybasilio8840 I do agree with you in most points you've said especially when it comes to the difficulty of dancing and singing at the same time. I can relate why MJ took those decisions in HIStory Tour because one of the most important reasons for that is because he wanted that tour to be a show rather than a concert (focusing on choreographies, technology, etc). Still, despite everything especially the laryngitis, his voice, at least for me, is still outstanding even during his last days, and singing live in whatever conditions still gives a special feeling and vibes

I wish that at this point we got a clear answer by people who’d worked with him, but it’s mainly down to us to reason out why he relied so heavily on playback during the History tour. Even Brad Buxer on the MJ Cast said “no comment.”
