those Mustangs are all NMRA Coyote Stock competitors. what's the most IMPRESSIVE thing about the Mustangs is that the coyote 5.0's are all crate engines from Ford Motorsport. Coyote Stock class runs spec a sealed crate engine, which these guy's run. The difference at this all motor race vs when they run in NMRA they are limited by tune in the pcm, and weight. Seeing 9.50s out of these crate engines is amazing! Granted they are on Hot tunes and probably pulled 300lbs or more out of the cars to get them to run in the 9s. They are crushing the 9's though!

Rodolfo Munoz the Coyote cars are running a stock sealed crate motor from Ford Racing per their class rules. They are stock long blocks, but I believe they are aloud to alter other things such as header design, intake design, tuning.

Anon Doe In not entirely sure what coyote engines these Mustangs in this video are using, if it's the older engines or the new ones. But if it's a new coyote then it would probably make 375 to the wheels stock. I've seen some of those new 5.0 coyotes going into the 600 Horsepower without any forced induction. But this is the s550 engines.

I'm an old fashioned type guy. I still believe that there is no replacement for displacement. Interestingly enough, in the 70's these cars would have been no better that 13 or 14 second cars. Amazing how much power is being squeezed out of small blocks now even under NA.

True, but I also see they have a weight advantage over the stangs. Ain't the Hondas around 2,100 pounds vs 3100 to 3500 with the mustangs. Low weight and high review engines vs low end torque. It's awesome watching them race. A test between tuning and shifting.

Jimmie Styer Honda's have the weight advantage Mustangs has the RWD Power advantage. A FWD will never run the 1/8 mile as fast as a RWD car.

MV Agusta because civics are not as slow as people make them seem when they are actually built an have shit done to them .......alot of the k series engines built for 9s are 2.0,2.5_7 liter engines making 500 bhp in a 1600 lb body

I've seen a 7 second N/A Mustang and several 8 second N/A Mustangs. They would dominate this competition.

Turd Ferg the class rules for these races put the v8 at a serious disadvantage. The combos are relatively mild and the car still weighs 3000 lbs where the 4 cyl cars can basically do whatever they want for the power and they weigh closer to 2000 lbs. Even with that said, it was two Mustangs in the finals for the bragging rights.
