It's great to see HD footage from you Mike, and despite all the issues, an excellent upload of this special event...Bob

Insurance, incase 1 of them failed. Network Rail charges are so high when their lines are blocked by private locos

Brilliant video Mike to capture these 3 diesels in such terrible weather..People walking in front of the camera is a hazard you can get on stations. That's a fact of life which we have to get use to. C&A

Mike... How far back can you go with film footage of Cardiff and did you ever film outside in the bus station? Would love to see footage of the Iron Ore trains with triple 37s and class 25s on Cardiff-Crewe trains. I lived in Cardiff up until early 1989 and remember very well how good it used to be for freight and passenger trains. Ahhh...those C3s on the valley lines as well as Selwyn the sheep! Loved the class 33 invasion as well but hated 155s with a passion! Keep up the good work mate. memories galore.😁

I lived in Cardiff 76-86 and returned to the area when I worked in Swansea from 96/98 when I retired. My Welsh tapes are 3 hours on vhs so still taking time to check them all I'm sure I have some as you request, but is making the time to check...................keep looking or email me on.....wilcock60@aol.com

talking of the abysmal 155s, i recall a load of Inverness 156s on loan to Cardiff Canton when they had to withdraw the entire 155 fleet! We have them to thank the return of 37s on Cardiff-Manchester/Liverpool services via the marches line! Loved the Old DMU variety back in the day as well. Cardiff really was a Mecca of railway entertainment those days😁 Looking forward to more archive footage when you get the chance mate. Cheers Mike👍

Great video Mike with your new X920...Excellento !! I have had problems with other, mainly photographers in the past whilst filming on the L&BR in North Devon. Some people have no consideration for anyone else...as long as they get what they want ! This Guy you said has done it before...i personally would have a little 'chat' with him...i just hope he hasn't got a YT Channel....i rest my case........Best wishes....Steve.

Nice catch- I always liked the Network South East livery, and it looks particularly good on a "Hoover". As for the idiot walking in front of you, I've had my share of them, including one occasion in the open countryside where one put his tripod legs beneath mine!! I'm now tempted to film them directly and then publish to KZbin.

There's no way you would get a 66 on steel train that long 60s are way superior than the 66

These locos are very expensive to run and maintain, that's why very few run on the mainline
