Hello Mr Nemtec! I would love to see a comprehensive guide to a range of "Nemspec" builds! From mild to wild! Ps, all specs would have to include the ring and pinion mod. Having a street/track spec, mild to wild, and a rally suspension spec, mild to wild, would be absolutely awesome! It doesn't have to be a pre build, but having a solid, tested directional path of tuning for street and rally would be gold.

@@NemtecRacing 😭🤣 #happytears ❤️ On the fence for a new BRZ/GR Corolla 🤯😭🤣 Edit: mild to wild is in reference to HP. Let's say, 320whp, 420whp, and 469(nice 😉😂) whp on 91-93oct fuel. I know engine cooling is vital for more power or prolonged periods of "enthusiastic" driving, but thats something I feel you guys could sort out. ❤️😊

Now that ecutek tuning is a thing, would you guys consider building packages for specific power goals with tuning as part of the package? I'd be interested in a 400 whp one or whatever is safe ish with a stock engine.
@NemtecRacing9 ай бұрын
Right now honestly 320whp is about all that’s achievable with “minor” mods. Anything above 350hp you need a new ecu and are looking at more than $20k. We are trying to develop stuff but everything takes time. We need away to reliably run e85. We need a fuel pump hanger to adapt to a new fuel pump. And then a way to run ethanol content sensors with the stock ecu
@Haloruler648 ай бұрын
It's awesome to see you guys be so open about all the details and that you're doing it yourself. Keep at it! I am curious how that rear diff cover will help. The consensus is that the Cusco diff cover doesn't help, all it does is add more oil capacity for the differential, which doesn't really affect the AWD coupling.
@NemtecRacing8 ай бұрын
We use our stuff at a very high level of abuse and there is not that much rear dif fluid in the stock dif. So when we start drifting you can damage the rear gear with overheated oil. Especially for cases like in stage rally you need as much capacity and cooling as possible

So are you going to install the pistons without any cylinder work (re-drill / hone)? Spec sheet states a clearance of .0037 for the forged stuff. Also CR is now 9.5:1 compared to the stock 10.5:1 which is not bad in terms of future boost goals. :D

Why are you machining the head, was this an old head? If say i were to order the same or similar parts what is the reason why I'd have to have a the head machined?
@NemtecRacing9 ай бұрын
Machining might be the wrong term. They have to pound out the old guides and pound the new ones in. Then they have to grind the valves to be the right height etc. and then I bet they’ll do a pass to resurface the head just to make sure it’s flat
@tyrian8699 ай бұрын
Are the valves just replacing the old ones, these aren't different meaning just new replacements from your last unfortunate event? and resurface is because you're mixing old head with new block? sorry If I'm way of on what all you've got going on, and the guides are interesting, they just make it easier if you ever have to disassemble again? are they halved between the block and the head?
@NemtecRacing9 ай бұрын
@@tyrian869so we actually have a brand new head and a brand new block. The guides help guide the valves and are friction reducing material so that at high rpm we don’t have issues. We are getting the head resurfaced just to make sure it’s flat sometimes oem doesn’t have the flattest finish. The machine shop will make that decision when the measure the head. We have all new parts we aren’t using anything from the old motor
