Nice video guys - here is some context and answers to some of the questions or feedback that you raised. 1) The larger inlet / outlet is for guys who want to go bigger power in the future - we're future proofing the design so guys can buy 1 intercooler and grow with the set-up. 2) The powder-coating is a thermal dispersion coating + it helps with avoiding corrosion , debris, etc 3) The frontal surface area allows for the quickest temp drop after beating on it - we have dyno video on our website to supplement the R&D that we did.

@Nemtec, Per your comments on valve-float with all these options beyond stock; what's your recommendation to do about the issue if going OTL or CSF - just stay off the limiter, consciously stay under 6k rpm, or look toward a tune to set rpm limit? My aim is to relieve the components of the heat soak and stress to the engine overtime - keeping the car overall in its stock form long-term means swapping valve springs is a bit overboard. Could you guys do a comparison like this but with intakes? Seems like all the claimed power gains are inconsistant in between companies for their intakes. Some do their measurements in STD vs SAE (like you mentioned in another video), some dont mention if they dynoed in AWD or FWD, and others dont have dyno sheets at all. I feel like companies like K&N are gonna have a lower actual power gain vs other companies like Eventuri or MST. Without consistant testing, their numbers are meaningless in comparison to other companies.

Hey just to clarify: there is valve float on all aftermarket intercoolers because all of them increased boost pressure passed the valve springs tolerance/rating. If I remember correctly from another video, valve float happens on our cars at around 27psi of boost. Sooo can I assume that all of the intercoolers in this video will most likely increase boost passed 27psi during daily driving? It seems like a lot but I’m not an experienced mechanic just a hobbies so I might be missing something here.
@NemtecRacing2 ай бұрын
It’s a tricky question because technically with a tune you could get the stock car in stock form to float the valves… And I wouldn’t run an intercooler without a tune because it’s just not gonna be super safe for the car in the long run idk just my opinion. But the smaller intercoolers on a stock tune probably won’t have valve float. The big intercoolers probably will it the big intercoolers on a stock tune are unrealistic because you need a tune when changing the air flow that much

If you bolt on a intercooler you shouldn’t get valve float.
