The joy in Homeskoolin is a chance to get a glimpse into your mind Tom. I can't ask Patrick Mahomes what he was seeing at the line or Lebron what he is working on with his jumpshot, but you give us unfettered access into a world we all dream about, yet never really see. Thanks Tom - this channel is amazing.

Yeah this ⬆️. It’s nuts we now get guitar lessons, demos and insight from the best in the world (for free). Used to buy magazines, vhs concerts hoping for a blurb or a glimpse. Now we get a point of view perspective, weekly, checking out the fucking whizzer as you’re walking by it during rehearsal.

Hi Tom, not even sure where to begin. Don't stop talking to us. You are the kind of mentor/friend every musician needs. Its not just technique, licks, chops, its so much more....its a great human being who is a great musician just sharing his musical life with us. What is there not to love. And about offering your guitars, don't stop, we love seeing great old instruments, you have always been upfront about your guitar flipping. It may sound weird, but you have been such a bright spot out here in rural Oregon, and i love you for it. Enough, i could go on ad nauseam.

I come back (again and again) for the music, wisdom, humour and (most importantly in our sometimes fkd world) the honesty …..which shines through in your music, wisdom and humour. I can't imagine how hard it is to keep motivated to talk alone to the camera but man we love it when you do. You are literally changing the world and making THOUSANDS of peoples lives better and easier every day. Somehow you have the ability to make people's burdens feel a little lighter with every video. Even when you think you actually have no burden at the moment. That's pretty amazing. This time (and every time) here in Finland, northern of Europe. Thank you for your humble work!

Hey Tom, just being yourself is what makes this work. Most of us know that’s how you roll. I had two guitar instructors growing up. The first one, although a great player, only spoke to admonish my pitiful skills. The second one would show me a cool concept to work on and then we’d sit and talk about anything and everything for hours. I learned a lot more from the second one. Many of us homeschoolers value your perspective and wisdom. I say talk as much as you want. I really appreciate your lessons, even those that extend beyond the fretboard. Thanks!

Tom, I recently got back to NC from visiting Nashville for my very first time. Man what a city you guys have over there. Got to spend some time on the East side and heard some absolutely killer music. Didn't have time to stop buy Gruhn's, but I was able to check out Carter's. Having never played a vintage axe before, I really wanted to know what all the buzz was about and if it was real or overblown. Got the opportunity to play a '62 ES-335 at Carter's and my god.. what an guitar. It was like all of classic rock bundled into a single instrument. If I had a spare $32 grand, I would have rode off into the sunset with that thing haha! But alas, it was amazing to play at the very least. I also went to the National Museum of African American Music and it was so cool to see where so much of this music that we all love came from. Needless to say, I left feeling incredibly inspired and I'll be coming back for sure. Definitely got to check out Gruhn's next time. Cheers!
