Idk what it is, but every time I turn on your videos I feel better. It been a way fucked up few weeks, and a few more to come. I spend every waking hour at my dad's bedside just seeing him wither away. I'm scared as hell, I feel alone, I feel helpless and like a part of me is dying every day. I play for his as often as possible. I've never cried as much as I have these past weeks. These videos for some reason are keeping me from going insane I think. I honestly don't know what to do, my dad is all I have left. We watch together and he smiles and says "that son of a bitch can play his ass off". Yes he can Pop. I just want to see him smile. I'm definitely not ready for what's to come. But thank you Tom, for putting a smile on my dad's face. That means everything to me. 😢

@@fiddlefolk I'm sure trying. The first 2 weeks after finding out about his having cancer, things just started falling apart. So 4 month from learning of it to the point we're at now. I've set up things to maybe help aleviate the stress of bills on my stepmom. The first 2 weeks he had no coverage because he had to retire early. So for that I'm trying to figure out what to do, where to go. She nor my brother can afford to pay almost half million dollars in bills. So the one thing I've done was set up a go fund me and alot of friends from my time in the ARMY have got on board to help get things rolling. I can't tell him about the bills. He doesn't need that on him. All I care about is his happiness and quality of life for as long as I can make it the best I can. I've been through some crazy shit people couldn't fathom. Which has made me a better, stronger person. But right I'm just that little kids that wants his Daddy. From that point in November, my life has changed forever. I never sweat the small stuff. My dad is the big picture and my priority. Every night when he falls asleep, I kiss his forehead and tell him that I love him. And tell him how much I need him and I don't want him to leave. I'm in my mid '40s, but there will never be a time that I won't need my Dad. I fall apart every night. This hurts so much.

When we do a session now, we joke: " Play what BUK would play" or " That's one out of the BUK (book)" I have a question also, do you guys get any royalties if you come up with some reefs or hooks that make a difference in a song that you are working on?
