I was watching Daniel Cooper and he was saying that people who think they are allergic to UV resin, it's usually the UV light because you need BLACK nitrile gloves, blue isn't protective enough 😢

Those are pretty! I use eyeshadow like mica powder. It sometimes doesn’t brush on as smoothly, but it’s sure a good fill in when I need a color that I’m missing in the other powders.

I’ve a pretty large amount of sterling silver bezels. I should make some of these. Could always make stars and seaweed out of sterling wire. Might do that. I’ve an itch to create some jewelry again. Great tutorial. Black gloves I agree best for using UV. It keeps skin from getting that crud ppl get with the other colors. 🥰

These are beautiful! I tried the UV resin with alcohol ink and it didn't cure! Ugh. Also, FYI, I saw video of Daniel Cooper and he said people aren't allergic to UV resin, but should wear black nitrile gloves as the UV light will penetrate through other gloves and cause skin reactions. ❤

Michelle, if you fold over both ends of the tape, your gloves won't stick. On the early days, I used makeup to color my resin. Break up and put in separate containers. Then you can use the containers if separate for bezels.

Yes for the most part, the high viscosity one is very thick and may need help.

Michelle, have to done the technique of mixing mica with alchohol? Once mixed use a paint brush to paint in mold, allow to dry, then resin. I just saw it tonight.
