50K/Month Christmas Ornaments on Etsy (FULL Tutorial)

I was just wondering about the sellers that you researched - especially the sellers that you mentioned making over $50,000 a month - are they Print On Demand sellers or are they making their own Christmas ornaments (that is printing their own ornaments)? The reason I am asking is because from the research I have done on Etsy - I can see that the most popular sellers with the most sales are those who are making/printing their own Christmas ornaments. I haven't yet found a Print On Demand seller making those sorts of figures - but can see plenty of sellers who are making their own ornaments making that sort of money.

Ordered my first sample for this after putting first design together. The quality on ceramic is poor, quite blurry and even with just 20% profit margin, have to sell for around $18. There is a lots of people selling at a lot lower price point with better quality.

From what I've read, the ceramic ornaments in Printify aren't very clear. Have you had that issue with yours?

Jenny, You hit on my concerns right away, Quality! I wasn't so concerned about shipping, but have seen quite a few concerns over print quality (clarity). You mentioned Prinity's Bestseller. Have you seen any issues with their work? Also, any red flags regarding material eg crystal, glass, aluminum, acrylic? Thanks

I love this tutorial video. I am concerned about using the ceramic ornaments as I hear/read horror stories of bad print jobs (running off of the ornament too much to the left or right), incorrect colors printed, fading, etc. Have you had many complaints along these lines? I hear more about avoiding the ceramic and going with the glass round ornament, but it is pricey. Maybe the sled ornament would be a good option too.

Hi! I personally have not had an issue- but you can always reach out to Printify for a refund or a reprint if there ever is an issue!

Do the ornaments from Printify not come in a gift box? I see many sellers on Etsy offering them in their listings.Tough to compete without that added bonus.

With Printify they do not come in a box- but that has not stopped customers from buying them- if you have a great design within an in demand niche, + an optimized listing- you’re good to go regardless!

You just have to add to them- you can’t just take one element, put it on a product and sell it. You need to combine elements or add text. Tweaking it to make it your own. I hope that helps 🙃

I always price to the profit margin I feel I deserve. I never lower my prices because of other sellers in the market. If you have a good quality product with a design that stands out among other Etsy sellers and is in demand, If the buyer likes it they will buy it! 🤗

Silly question, but is the process as simple as this!? I always feel like in order to add value and drive sales I need to do design something intricate complicated. Am I overthinking it?! 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Making designs seems to take me forever!

I use to over complicate and spend wayyyy too much time on my designs in the beginning. I later learned that simple things actually sell. So now when I start over fixating on a design I stop myself and remember “Simple Sells” and it helps a lot 🙃

Great video, thank you! I was wondering though whether you have or had any printing issues with ceramic ornaments? Some people say that the print quality on ceramic ornaments often comes out blurred and fuzzy, some people even stopped offering ceramic ornaments in their shops because they got too many bad reviiews and had to do reprints or refunds. What's your experience?

It has happened but not enough for me to stop selling them- I just offer a reprint or a refund when it does happen- also consider selling the glass ornaments- they are pricier but def less issues than the ceramic ones!

You selected the one sided ornament. From your experience is it worth it doing double sided ornament or most customers are satisfied with the single sided one?

One side is fine! Sometimes a customer will message and ask and you can charge a little more to do both sides

There are different “classes” when it comes to trademarks. Coquette is currently not trademarked for things like apparel or ornaments.

Jenny, thanks for another good video. My concern is all the 'all the POD tubers" are pushing ornaments for Christmas. I know most of the people watching won't act but what's your thoughts on too many people jumping into selling ornaments this Christmas? Is the market big enough or?

Great question. I believe the market is still wide open for these as long as you are standing out in some way. Yes the typical merry Christmas ones will be saturated- but there are so many different niches, trends and aesthetics to apply to this product- even events, for example the election coming up. 🤗

I just looked- it looks like “baby’s first Christmas” is okay now. But I would still keep an eye on it incase they renew it. However “My first Christmas” is trademarked
