The Cottack Workshop was asked to restore a garden bench which was engraved to celebrate fifty years from 1957 to 2007. Unfortunately, after 15 years in the garden, it needed a bit of work to repair and restore. Toffee the Bengal makes a few appearances as we bring this bench back to working order.

This video got a thumbs up after seeing the first few seconds because of Toffee's appearance! (It would have anyway 😁) A nice job bringing the bench back to life, it looks great - especially the backboard. A neat trick with the epoxy which I assume will stop the feet from (hopefully) rotting again? I'm sure that after your care and attention it will easily stand up to the next 15 years of Scottish weather!

Thank you - Toffee turns up when she wants to and she was particularly interested in this project! I hope the feet will add many more years of use, thanks as always!

Thank you! I used Cuprinol Garden Furniture stain and then some simple beeswax polish. The garden furniture stain claims it "provides long lasting colour and lasting weather protection to all types of wooden garden furniture."
