...for me, anytime a piece of wood is saved from the burn pile and made into something is a win...👍 The fact you envisioned this in that hunk of wood is inspirational...thanks! Matt

Beautiful work Mike. I can’t imagine your wife not loving it. And to think no tape was harmed in the turning of this piece. 😂 Great job.

Thank you Doug much appreciated.

That ended up far better than I thought it would, but looking at the finished piece, it will make a perfect table centre piece with a bouquet of dried wild flowers. Nice job Mike.

Really cool piece in the end. There were so many ways you could have gone with that blank, but in the end you get to express yourself in your art. Nicely done!

I agree that the wood often dictates how the turn goes. However, I think I would cut the original chunk in half and made two bowls instead of one long one.

Hi Mike, so sorry to hear you’ve had such a tough time, 🤞🏽things start to settle down. I used to do a lot of Woodturning five or six years ago and watched your vids. For one reason or another it’s fallen by the wayside but I hope to do a little bit more and so I decided to dig out your videos to subscribe. I like your presentation and look forward to looking at the catalogue. 👍🏽
