hello mr vogel , a regulator can and will be damaged when turning it to low reg pressure .while under pressure . turn the reg in on a empty tank ,and turn the reg pressure up in the plenum is not as bad withpressure in the tank but mut be done a little at the time your personel mailadres at he end of the vid does not work ,otherwise ive used that , a propan burner can be used to brake locktite

That all depends on the regulator. Some can go up and down under pressure others can only adjust up under pressure. I haven't looked at the regulators on the Elite challengers to know whether it can be adjusted down under pressure or not.

@@kyleklukken4089 even if its allowed like the fx ,they say little adjustment and then shoot ,and the littkle again . 5 min on a klok. because you can damage it

if putting a silencer or weight at the te barrel you change harmonics and bend the the barrel a little , and to narrow is bad even if not clips

morning bob, thanks for doing this rifle, i have this one and two different versions of the great kami for it. using the 310gr hp, some from you and some i made myself that fragment on impact but are also hp projectiles. pushed my reg up around 2350psi. to play with. you only get the 540fpe when you run the reg around 210 bar. but like you i suggest a bit less and anything over 400fpe is gonna do the gob. i would like to know how many shots on reg did you get at your setting. because i would like to get a whole two mags on reg somehow and a third off the reg. my hip is getting much better, hope you are doing well. I am wanting to buy my first PCP. I have decied i want to go with AEA bull pup. I just dont know what caliber i shoud go with. I am thinking the .50 cal. But should i go regulated or not. Any advice would be gret. Thank you for all your videos

I'm relatively new to pcps as well and regulated guns are definitely less of a headache and easier with tuning but I feel like for a beginner, unregulated would be a great way to really learn these guns and get used to the power curves that come with them. My first was an airforce talon that I converted to .25 and did alot of valve experimenting and learned so much about pcps just from tinkering and testeing/ trial and error with that gun. But I am planning on getting the regulated version of this gun and will be my first regulated setup

From what ive seen from videos that the 50 cal version has a .495 bore if im correct, does anyone know if the .510 has a true .51 bore? Cant seem to find that spec anywhere

Yes the 50 is 495 and the 51 is 510.

I can't believe the best pressure for that reg is 1900psi. My .30 cal gauntlets reg was set at 3000psi. I thinks thats why ur not getting the velocity or the shot count. That hammer is pounding that pressure weak valve. I would at least start at 2700 psi if it were me.for a 51 cal. But I could be wrong
