Lexion combines eat the acres in a hurry and do a nice job. I plan to catch the 8700 in the video in corn. You might have noticed a Deere S790 also harvesting in this video. @jasonhessels2 жыл бұрын
No. You would have to order it as a tire machine, then you lose the 510 bushel grain tank. Why would you want LSW over those tracks?
@jamesfl19682 жыл бұрын
@@jasonhessels from what I heard from farms with the LSW smoother ride, less Maintenace and better fuel numbers over tracks.,

Yes you can it reduces the grain tank option to 485 bu. The Lexion Terra Trac better in my opinion because it spreads out the weight of the combine and in wet conditions does not rut the field.

I film every brand of combine and from my observation GLEANER combines do the best harvesting job. The S9 combines are impressive. I have filmed a S96 and S97. I would like to see what an S98 could do. CLAAS combines are good. They can move a bunch a corn. The advantage CLAAS combines have over the rest is the Terra Trac reduction compaction especially in a muddy harvest. The tracks long length keep the combine on top rather than leaving ruts.

Wheat you are only cutting the top part of the plant where the wheat head is, with soybeans you are cutting low on the ground. Taking in not only the entire plant but some dirt as well in places, especially if your field has a lot of crawfish mounds.

I'll never understand this. CLAAS makes such a pretty combine. Million dollars sitting there- but then sticks a 20 dollar aluminum ladder on the back. Like they got a deal from some hardware store. They can do better with that, in my opinion.
@bigtractorpower Жыл бұрын
Actually it is a very handy ladder. It detaches from the back and can be used to access belts and pulleys under the side shields with ease. The first time I saw how the silver ladder is a useful tool all around the combine I though ahhh that makes sense why don’t the other brands have this. Watch this video I made at the 27:30 mark it shows just how handy the aluminum ladder is on a Lexion kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4DFZY2Ih56Inqc You might view it completely different going forward.
