Hello everyone In this video we are going to disassemble the 0B5 Dl501 NGZ gearbox and mount another gearbox from the 2012 model (rs5) the mileage of the gearbox will exceed 1000km with my gearbox!
I do use my own megatronics!

Hallo allemaal In deze video gaan we de 0B5 Dl501 NGZ-versnellingsbak demonteren en een ander versnellingsbak monteren van het 2012 model (rs5) de kilometerstand van de bak komt op 1000km na overheen met mijn versnellingsbak!

Very well put together guide. Can you remember what size socket size is required for the bell housing bolts (ie. the 12 point bolts attaching the body of the transmission to the engine block shown at 4:47 ), are they 18mm? Thanks

Where did you find the VAG guide?? Need to drop my 3.0t engine for timing and would LOVE that guide

Good to see that the issue is fixed. Have you conisdered to open the original gearbox and find the root cause?

no i haven't done that yet! but I still think the Diffrential made the sound! but I will still disassemble the gearbox because I find it interesting what the causes were

Do you need to do adaptions to new gearbox or is it simply a plug and play?

I'm glad she's okay too😅 The cost list Gearbox 1200 euros + 2 months warranty MTF oil 100 euros ATF oil 60 euros Gasket ATF 15 euros 2xfilter ATF 35 euros Orings set 12 euros Copper rings set 10 euros I spent about 35 hours on it But that's for my own

How many kilometers did your old gearbox had? Is there a difference in the gearbox from the pre to the facelift modell?

my old gearbox has 86000 km on the clock & yes the megatronics would have an adjustment and the external ATF filter has also been adjusted! the 2010-2011 filter housing has come loose due to vibrations while driving

Hey RM, I will be shortly getting the gearbox on my RS5 overhauled along with fitting a JHM Lightweight Flywheel - Question I have some catless headers that need to be fitted are the OE manifold accessible with the engine in situ but gearbox removed?

I'm having an absolute nightmare with mine. I think the mechatronics unit is failing as it randomly gives me gearbox fault error message and goes into limp. Audi won't touch it because It has a map (by mrc) by the previous owner. I have no idea what to do

Kan ik de computer vervangen zonder de bak eraf te halen of is het aan te raden om die er wel af te halen in verband met inlichting of iets anders?

@m.s.ramcharan5441 Jaa je kan mechatronica eruit halen zonder dat je bak eraf moet, je moet wel op letten dat je recht naar beneden gaat anders kunnen schakel vorken verdraaien waardoor je de mechatronica er niet uitkrijgt. En voorzichtig als je de mechatronica laat zakken deze zal een beetje vast geplakt zitten, ander kan je boven de mechatronica plastic kanalen beschadigen! Je kan niet zomaar een ander mechatronica/computer installeren, je zou hem opnieuw moeten (in leren)

Top!! Ik moet de positie sensor vervangen. Neem aan dat die wel gewoon vervangen kan worden zonder inleren. Heb je nog tips of dingen waar ik rekening mee kan houden. Of die ik gelijk meekan nemen en vervangen.

@m.s.ramcharan5441 Voor de positie sensor moet ik je helaas teleurstellen 😞 daar moet je hele bak er voor onderuit, omdat die midden in de bak zelf zit en niet bij de mechatronica! (Je bak moet gedeeld worden om erbij te kunnen)
