My personal overview and thought of owning a 530i BMW E39 - 2001

E39 is arguably the best BMW ever built! Inspired driving experience. These cars are poised to skyrocket in price. So many have been destroyed through over modification, driven into the ground or wrecked outright. 1996 - 2003 with moderately low production numbers assures scarcity and collector value. These cars are money in the bank!

Absolutely. Looks like the 90's were the best era for cars and car enthusiasts. And probably the early 2000's. That automatic battery disconnection feature is genius.

My dad said the same :D always drove audi/volkswagen. My Grandpa always drove BMW's. We still have a e30 320i cabrio which is in our family since the beginning (1988). 6 years ago my dad bought a e39 520i and he will never sell it^^ It now has 256.000km and when it has 300.000km he will leave it in the garage. Now my first car is a e39 525i , same as the car of my best friend :) WE jsut love those cars

Need Help. im maybe about to buy a 2002 black with tan interior e39 530i auto. Is this car going to cost an insane amount of money to operate and be very prone to breakage?

@@RockyBoyBalboa not really...but if something breakes it can be expensive...like Vanos or the gearbox...and watch out for rust on the typical places

Your descriptions show that you appreciate BMWs finest achievement. You will surely regret selling such a beautiful car. I’ve had my 528 for 21 years. Almost sold. But there is no car like it. You need to drive it for longer cruises. The engine needs to get hot to remove water from oil and exhaust. Minimum 1/2 hour. The car will like it. You can also easily add Bluetooth to the existing audio system with the Bluebus. How much are you asking?

I own a immaculate E39 530d Touring and agree and confirm everything you say! I think the 530d engine is even better than the 530i petrol engine. It's the best car I ever owned. I had a 530d E60 when it came out. Sure a great car too but the E39 is more exclusive in every aspect, better materials used, heavy quality and craftsmanship. I adore and love it very much. The only car for which I would change it is the L322 Range Rover with the TDV8 engine. Most amazing car on the road by far.

You've nailed it mate. Just bought a 523i se. Getting rid of an A3 sportback which is fast by sterile. You're selling the wrong car

Can stand for three mouths, my 530D dies after two week of stading with a 3 mouth old batterie and it does not have any drainege problems.

I know that the rear headrest is power adjustable through the seat adjusters, but I still don't know how to tilt the headrest

I had it working by chance fiddling with seat controls. does your steering wheel move also up and down? mine does not so far.

Sell it and get a real good one with Stick shift! That automatik is slow as fk
