Oh my goodness... Jenn!! 😃😍👍🏻 I am a sailor and a diver (Atlantic and Baltic Sea) and I can feel the bubbles if the breaking wave when seeing this! This is so full of life... I am a little sad that my dad cannot see this. He passed away 8 years ago. He used to be a Navy officer, also sailor and diver and as long as I remember he had three arts in his wall in his office as a doctor instead of all these certificates doctors usually hang to the wall: two large photos of "Gorch Fock" (the old sailing ship he started his career on) and "Hokusai's wave". Do you know this? And this wave reminds me on Hokusai. Awesome! In things like this viewers can see the difference if someone is just pouring and watching the bubbles making cells, which is boring after a year or so. Or if someone's an artist. What you are doing with the fluid is art because you manipulate an difficult materia to get in shape for a special result. And this result is alive! Wow!!! ♡♡♡ I am impressed! 👍🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hi! Really pretty painting! I was wondering if you could make a video on what to do after the painting drys. (unless if you have made one then is it possible if someone links?) only because when my painting drys, it kinda goes all mat so I put a gloss over it to bring back its shine. But for some reasons the paints will all mush together (even though it’s completely dry) and ruin the painting. Sorry if this is long and hard to understand but if you could leave some tips on what to do after you painting drys that would be great! ❤️✨
@CraftyJenn6 жыл бұрын
Hi Jasmine! Thank you So much for watching :) I have some videos of my dried paintings; kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3TCaIt-dr-kq8U You can see some that I have covered with Liquidex varnish to make them pop again, I also use resin which really makes them pop! I do let mine dry for several days or even a week before I coat them. I'm not sure why all your paints would mush together. That totally sucks! What kind of gloss are you using? I will try to make another video where I show how I coat my paintings with the varnish ;) I've done some videos where I show the resin; kzbin.info/aero/PLV2d0sdUFLRgKZzPT8W_iLQGUpskF8Tlg Hope these will help in the meantime :)
@jasminehazza62396 жыл бұрын
CraftyJenn ah okay that you very much! Yeah that helps a lot as I was leaving mine until the next day to varnish them :) I currently use the Winsor and Newton gloss varnish for acrylic mediums. I’m not 100% sure if I can use this varnish for these types of paintings, it’s just what some one recommended to me 😊
@jasminehazza62396 жыл бұрын
Also (sorry that I keep asking questions, I’m really new to this type of style) but I was wondering on how you get rid of the lumps in the paint because that always ruins my paintings ahaha! :)
@CraftyJenn6 жыл бұрын
No worries ask away :) You can usually see the lumps when you tip the canvas or pour the paint so I just pick them out with my finger or palette knife LOL I have had a couple paintings where the lumps did dry but it's part of the painting so I just leave them. You could resin them and then it will coat over the lumps so you can't see them as much. I hope this helps :) Also, I use Liquitex varnish/gloss for most of my paintings. I got a bucket of it on Amazon that I think will last me a while LOL Here's a link if your interested; amzn.to/E5CQCD (Canadian Amazon) and (US Amazon) amzn.to/2pPxeVO It also comes in smaller amounts :)
@amskazetoame6 жыл бұрын
Jasmine... I let my paintings dry two days then I spray with a couple coats of matte finish mod podge. I let that dry for an entire day and then I use a high gloss polyurethane, brushing it on. Three coats, drying completely between them. It really makes colors pop

How awesome is this? You’re creating an ocean wave right on the beach with the crashing ocean waves sounding all around you! ❤️ the wave is extremely 3 dimensional with a trough in the center curling up! Too much!!
