Ocean Swipe Fluid Art | DETAILED Tutorial

Here is my detailed tutorial on how to create an ocean pour painting using the swipe method!
So if you're a beginner, enjoy the start to finish of the process!
If you're an experienced pourer and just want to know my mix ratios or technique, I'll list time stamps below!
I'll also link to the plastic sheet I use for swiping and my stir sticks!
Edit to paint ratios for the “lighter tan” color! In the video I say .35oz Antique Gold, .15oz of Warm Grey, and .6oz of White for a total of 1oz…that makes 1.1oz. 😆 🤦‍♀️ It’ll still work since it’s so close to the ratio. But i meant to say .35AG, .15WG, and .5 White. Sorry about that! :)

0:57 - Taping off canvas and sealing the edges

I appreciate that you showed us how you mix your paint in the cups. You'd be surprised that for something that is so simple and routine to you just isn't clear to someone like me who's never done it. Most people just rattle off their ratios and I'm not always clear what 50 percent this to 30 percent that to half water to 50 percent glue and the percentages don't add up to a hundred and then I'm all confused. You were very precise with your measurements and there was no confusion or muddled ratios. I think with your specific instructions I can probably do this too. And your sand was gorgeous.
