How interesting to see that X tool working. October here in the states is breast cancer awareness month, therefore no Lupus until May. Your tea light holders came out beautiful.

Debby thank you so much for watching and leaving such a lovely comment! Oh the xTool is definitely fun. I'd like to do a lot more with it but I'm a bit worried it will bore people or turn people off who don't have one. So I try and just marry it in with my other projects. Thank you so much re the tea light holders. I really appreciate your support! Erin.

Chloe what a beautiful comment to receive, thank you so much. I am so sad to hear about your struggles and the more research I did the more I felt what a cruel condition Lupus is. It is great though that there is increasing awareness of it as I imagine that sometimes people in your life might not realise you have such debilitating conditions because they don't recognise the symptoms. I feel very privledged that June from June's Sunshine Creations created this opportunity to share some love for the Lupus community! Erin xx

💜So much appreciation for u taking the time, research & compassion to cre8 this video & project. As a Lupus Warrior myself, I can attest to how incredibly difficult it is to find concise information for urself, let alone, to educate others. It is a vast, deep & mostly frustrating journey. Possibly due to living in the U.S.!? My experience has been the “so called Specialist”, Rheumotologist, we rely on for all our treatment/answers, are regular Primary Care Dr’s that took a weekend class, learning from outdated medical books. They’re filled with presumptions about what causes this disease & how to identify or diagnose a patient, then WalLah.. they’re now a Specialist! Our diagnosis is based on what they call markers. U must meet 7 out of the 11 markers, which stands for symptoms ranging from bloodwork to rashes or other ailments. Sorry 4 the rant, I suppose I am still frustrated over the lack of answers & knowledge surrounding all things autoimmune related. What ur video did was call awareness to those who are suffering silently & feel unseen or recognized. I send u so much gratitude for thinking of others & taking the time to educate urself, which in turn educates so many others. Ur pieces are beautiful. I know u will receive so much positive feedback & appreciation from many individuals like me! Blessing u with Love & Light! 🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜

Oh Allyson I'm so sorry to hear about Lupus for you but you sound like the best person to help educate others as your own journey to diagnosis was obviously frustrating. I learnt so much in my research and one of the things that stood out to me was that it disproportionally affects women and in particular women who are non-Caucasian. Two subsets of people that often are discriminated against already or at higher risks due to their socio-economic status, cultural views and living standards. That just feels so unfair. I hate that it is a battle in itself to just get diagnosed, let alone get support and treatment. I really hope that Lupus awareness can just keep increasing and that organisations can be funded to provide that critical education, support and research. I really appreciate you sharing your story with me, it means a lot. Thank you so much for watching my video and for taking the time to leave a comment too. Erin.

Another awesomely entertaining and educational video Erin… those pots are just adorable!! And, another close to home charity… my eldest daughter (38) has Lupus, and was diagnosed about 3 yrs ago… and, although she is noticing an increase in joint pain and strength, she handles it well. She suffered with awful welts and rashes on her face, neck, shoulders and upper arms for many years before being diagnosed. When she was about a month old she developed a mass of red spots on her torso… a couple of months later, she was diagnosed with Urticaria Pigmentosa and, just as we were told would happen, they disappeared when she was a young teenager… the rashes started to appear a few years later… and I have often wondered if they were at all connected. Ok… enough of my waffling for one day!! Luv ya lots. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
@BlossyBTasАй бұрын
Um excuse me Nat, I happen to love your waffling!!! Waffle on I say! Oh that is so interesting re your daughter. I learnt this during my research, that diagnosis can take a very long time as Lupus often presents as a myriad of other things. That is so interesting re the early spots possibly being connected. I would hope that one of the Lupus foundations might investigate that? We are so lucky to live in an age where we can share stories like this and raise awareness. I love what you said about my pots too!!!! Thank you! As always, you're the best! xx
