I need help I have a hook pinball machine that my boyfriend brought home from a random persons basement. But for some reason the display say stuff about Star Trek. And some times the display goes dark. I don’t know what to do.

Some videos have a post on the back right yellow lamp cover and some don't did data east eliminate that as production went along

Not sure...its possible the post was to deflect the ball--or to keep it getting stuck. I DO remember, when we had this game on our route, back in 1991 to 1997 when we vended pinball machines, we sometimes stuffed a bit of clear bubble wrap in that corner...because every so often, we would have a call about the ball being stuck. That was an easy instant fix.

The lights make this machine look awesome. I just bought one and this one puts mine to shame. Are you using the same type of LED's on the whole machine or are you using different ones behind the back glass and under the playfield? I saw the "moveable" ones that you put in the eyes, but which other ones did you use (if you don't mind sharing). Thanks!

we use a combination of clear LED's, Frosted, and Concave top...One of the videos I will show the drawers we keep full of them...as we try different combinations to see what works best!
