Too right. The older I get and expand my musical horizons, it's funny to learn folks as diverse as Ian Curtis and Jim Morrison are both indebted to his Frankness.😊 they had obvious good taste.

I love this album! A lonely companion when you are broken hearted after a breakup and are grasping at straws and the drugs , liquor and other people are not enough to console you and all you have is your brokenness to share in prayer to God.

His divorce from Ava new. Nelson's wife and daughter dying..inspired this tale of sadness and loss. The album was put into a time capsule showing the sadness and emotional loneliness in American life..

That's correct. They died in a flash flood, which has happened from time to time in the Los Angeles area from time to to time, 1992 being the last time. I was living there when it happened the last time. This album was recorded some four to five years after he and Ava had split up, but he used her memory to help him record his sad songs. @@54music2
