I know this build is probably complete but if not or you might have a new one your working on, when painting bear meal clean it off with phosphoric acid, iron oxide comes to the surface as you scrub the metal with it. I used it all the time when I was younger and had the money to trick out cars and trucks. Very nice 3100!

@@DiegoLopez-ii7ve If I can make one suggestion that may seem silly but I TOTALLY overlooked when I started welding… being able to SEE well was a game changer. When I started, I had a cheap auto darkening helmet from harbor freight. My welds sucked because I couldn’t see the workpiece or the arc that well. Once I figured out my problem, I bought a better helmet (still not crazy expensive) - I bought the Vulcan hood for $150. The first weld I made with it, looked 100x better - just because I could finally see what I was doing properly!

@@intheshoptv For the last 2 weeks, Ive been doing a lot of Research about welding, and watching what you are welding Its really important & I agree!! Thanks for the advice! For sure I`m going with a nice Helmet ( need to look for a inverter welder 120v , hasnt one yet, Will be practicing with e6013 & cutting the old springs hahaha scrap metal, cleaning it & start making sparks) Appreciate your time for reading me.
