I have this exact mold and I did my ratio properly for part a and part b and it cured soft and flimsy , I felt like the mold made it that way

You could have some humidity issues going. That’s all I can think of right now but there is a better video on #92

Turned out beautiful! ...Generally on this type of box, I've seen the bezels sides being placed towards the inside of the box, though I personally don't think it would affect the box to put them in the opposite way. Mock it up with painters/masking tape first to be sure (test with dominos inside to check for any height difference). You attach the long sides to the bottom first, then the short sides. On the short sides, one is slightly shorter (that's the side the top slides in) and that one is glued in last, you need the slightly taller one to help guide the placement of the longer sides so the corners are square. You want to place it on the end before gluing the long sides on to get the spacing right, but don't actually glue it until you get at least one of the long sides on first, preferably both. Since your box is mostly clear, you could also use UV resin to stick the box together (easier because it holds as soon as you set it but UV resin is expensive) or just use something like E6000 instead. Definitely a strong, clear drying glue. Hold it together with some painters/masking tape until dry if you're using glue. Good luck getting it together, it's a bit fiddly if you don't use tape to hold it together or an have an extra pair of hands to help.

The mold I have has the two top and bottom pieces, the two side pieces, and the two end pieces all matching each other. Can you send me a link to the mall do you purchased? I think it would be easier to assemble if it were one that had different size ends.

I've been wondering how these go together. My guess would be all groves go on the inside. Don't use an open flame on silicone, pop bubbles with alcohol. Molds are so expensive and so easily damaged.

You are right. I use to use alcohol when I knew how the particular resin I was using was going to react to it but I think now I’ll have to take my chances or stick to a resin that don’t have many bubbles. Thanks for the advice 💕

Well, in honesty, I wish you luck assembling this box. I went through hell and back on this box alone...Several times! Lol. I eventually had to make several modifications and then dropped the mold into a box. I purchased a different domino box mold that works great. Instead of the top sliding, the top lifts up. I just didn't have patience with the mold you're using. If you assemble it, I would love to see how you did it. Much love.

The top and bottom pieces are identical and the side pieces are identical and the end pieces are identical. You can assemble it in such a way that the top and bottom both slide together.

I generally don’t measure a lot on the end result but I’m guessing around 4oz. You can also fill your mold up with water or dry rice and that will also tell you how much you need.
