Yo been watching your channel for a while now. I recently got into cars, and my dream car is a GR86. Your GR86 is kinda the dream build (Red looks so good), and I really appreciate you showcasing these mods and cosmetics for the 86. I ended up in a rear-end collision on July 28, 5 days ago, at a stop light due to a distracted driver. I had a sore neck, but my car ended up being totaled. I know now when I buy a GR86 In the future my first mod will definitely be this. Thanks for sharing 😀

A week before you posted this, I installed a flashing 4th brake light LOL! I am very happy with the one I got from you. It literally took me a minute, whereas the other install took me a day! Glad to see you back on your feet, quite literally. Had a serious question for you. I just bought a GR86 and I wanted to get either the Tomei single or dual exit exhaust. How loud is it inside of the cabin? I have a five year old in the back seat and don’t want him to go deaf 😂.

Thanks! Glad to be back haha If you are just mating it with a stock header and front pipe it's not overly loud in my opinion. If you change out either of those, that could change quickly.

I’ve got the dual exit and love it. Cold start is pretty loud and it gets loud when you get to the higher rpms but under 3-4k it’s not loud

Just arrived! Install took about as long as the sour patch kids took to eat 😉 If you break more than once inside 3 seconds, it will not flash over and over, but instead just the initial brake...? Just what I hoped for, kev!

I updated the ones that are being sent out to have a delay feature that prevents it from blinking right after you've just pressed the brake pedal. That way hopefully it won't be too annoying to other drivers!

Make a video with tail light strip options. I'd like to see what the red gr86 looks like with the strip turned off. Wondering if it's the same color or not. I bought the hirev tail lights in clear with red. Waiting for them to come in. I noticed it is a darker red vs oem with lights off, but the smoked is just black with lights off. I have red overlays on stock tail lights for now. Waiting on hirev to come in, and seeing if the red overlays will even look good with the tail lights being off. I think they're more maroon tail lights vs color matching the car. They have very few pictures of the lights, and none from the side.....Had to order them to find out. Of course I've been following you for awhile now, and I do have a similar build. I do buy your products also. Thank you for everything you do. Helps me make better mod choices.

Why ain’t there one with a continuous light strip? Instead of chunky, pixelated LEDS? The broken up look makes it cheap and old school.

All the current aftermarket options I’ve seen look almost identical to OEM. They’re all pixelated too. Only thing that is an uninterrupted strip of light is the $200 eBay light bar that spans the gap between both tail lights (entirely different product)

Hey @KevinVo, what is the plan for the passenger side occupancy sensor relocation bracket that you got while picking up the WRX? The stock seats do not fit me great, and I am eager to replace them, but don't want to do just the driver side. I frequently have a passenger so I need the airbags to work incase of (another) accident. Very excited to see a working solution, i'm hoping to see it on your channel soon.

Recently bought some overlays from driven media and I was wondering if there were any plans to make a light smoke/dark smoke overlay for the Toyota emblems. Thanks! I've seen one or two GR86 front bumpers repainted with the emblem deleted and it looks so much better, but I guess a smoked emblem overlay is the cheapest and closest thing to an emblem deleted haha

Been following you for a few months now and im looking into getting an enthusiast car, from 30-40k budget and im debating between a gr86(new), VB WRX(new) or a used 340i or audi S3 or S4. Thoughts? I looked up US laws and it's perfectly legal here. Only thing is if it were to continually flash, but these flash a few times then go solid. That's a terrible implementation for this amount of money. It should use an accelerometer to blink only under heavy deceleration
