hey thanks for the video it helped me with my install. quick question, what coil overs are those????
@SeanPaintsFlames4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'm pretty sure those lowers are supposed to go either all the way inside the frame on a boxed section or all the way out. I would box a much bigger section around those uppers as well. I'm doing this same kit with the same rearend in a '67 right now.

SeanPaintsFlames they can but don’t have to, we’ve done a few like this and they seem to work just fine, I like them to be as straight as possible.

Which rear axle did you guys used and suspension as well. I’m doing my own build already installed the crown vics suspension but I don’t know which axle I should use. Thanks in advance

at 15:08 you are showing the upper links, I think you have them installed at about a 45 degree angle. While this is good for lateral stability and less load on the links during cornering, the ride can be somewhat less desirable. Shouldn't a 30-35 degree angle be used instead? And maybe a bit more down angle on it too?

Too bad you don't have the right box for the truck. If you had the right box ( 53 thru 79 ) it would look so much better. Plus rather than moving the axle and changing the wheel base, I would have relocated the fenders to match the axle location. But that's my opinion. Either way it's great seeing younger ones taking an interest in the older iron. Keep it up. Where in Wisconsin are you guys at? I'm in northeastern Minnesota.

Did shortening the top bars make your differential / drive shaft angle roll too much as it travelled thru its arc???
@resurrectionauto57143 жыл бұрын
No, I don’t see hardly any roll while it is articulating

When you set your ride height that you wanted how far did your ride sit once you put it under load.

Why not move those lower bars out to the outside of the frame and weld mount solid to frame rail side
@resurrectionauto57144 жыл бұрын
John k I could but prefer the bars to be as straight as possible. They seem to work fine in either configuration

Did you build all of this custom? Or, is this a kit you bought? If it was a kit, can you drop the link to it? Thanks,

I realize im seeing this 9 months later but did you guys know those are NOT 1955 rear fenders?! They are earlier. '54 or '55 cab & front clip but the rear fenders are from a F1.
@resurrectionauto57143 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, and the box itself is from a different truck as well
