Walter Blake Knoblock how much does it cost to sign up with amazon to begin selling?
@janisfoley47684 жыл бұрын
@@charhamilton817 You can do an individual account for free and it will cost you $1 per item plus your fees... Or a pro account is $39.95 I believe... Basically forty bucks and you can send in an unlimited amount.

@@janisfoley4768 Idk too much about Amazon, but I would love to be able to find a couple of products that could be sold to get my bills paid. I forgot to tell mr. WBK that it was me who made the 21 drinking laws be enforced 30 yrs ago but since then I got really sick on contaminated drinking water so now it's been 5 years and my FICO score is still in the dirt so I want to get a job or 3 whatever it takes to pay bills and get my credit scores back to normal. Thanks for answering this question, I can pay $40 to get started. Just need to figure out how amazon works? I'm techie challenged too.

FYI, eBay now charges the final Value fee on the shipping charges as well as the item price, so you would pay another $0.26 to $0.31 in FVF on those, so there's basically no profit in selling that item at that price on eBay.

First time viewer here, andi got lost when you were on the Ebay side of the explains. So. Do you send Ebay the merc along with shipping supplies necessary for sending out the product? I'm fed up with being unemployed so if I can earn $500/month out of my home on one product, is it possible that I could pick 4, 6, 8 items to pay the bills? It's my goal to double my current (*seperate/untaxable) income. Of course I know that I'll have to pay 35% self employment taxes to govt to stay legal with the IRS. Thanks for posting this video, I'll watch it again in the morning to see if I understand it better after a cup of coffee is in my system. Happy New Year!

Great detailed breakdown again. Sometimes your customers are not able or unwilling to buy from dollartree dot com maybe they don't have a way to order/pay for the items from that website but they can order from Ebay. Perhaps they are unable or unwilling to visit the brick and mortar stores. The price they pay is acceptable to them to get the product.. I find it is easier to bundle for a listing on Ebay to get the dollar amount of the listing up. P.S. house arrest? ha luckily my leg monitoring device allows me to get to my local dollar tree without setting off any alarms

Can you make a video detailing what Amazon requires to sell new items in FBA? Do I need receipts or documentation of the items I ship to Amazon. Seems to be a gray area. Thank you
@WBKnoblock5 жыл бұрын
If they ask for an invoice, you’ll need an invoice; if they don’t, you don’t. It is a very gray area but no point in getting hung up on it IMO. If you accidentally buy a product you can’t sell on amazon, you can always just sell it another way.

Awesome content. I have new-B question. When you have the 1,000 items to ship to FBA, do you create 1 listing with quantity 1,000, 2 listings qty of 500 or 1,000 listings? Thank you for your great wisdom.
@WBKnoblock5 жыл бұрын
This question is not framed in a way I can answer but I will tell you what I think you’re getting at: 1. You don’t need 1000 items- an FBA shipment can be as low as 1. 2. I do not create any listings, the listings already exist. This is colloquially referred to as an ASIN. 3. I put the full quantity in my inventory. If you're paying 50% or more in business expenses, doesn't that send up a red tag to the IRS for audit? That seems to be something that I learned in accounting in HS, but I've had a brain surgery in 2015. I'm cleared now of the brain tumor but I have a hella amount of medical bills that need to get paid.
@WBKnoblock3 жыл бұрын
No, I don’t think it will trigger an audit, especially if you’re making less than $1,000,000, I recall hearing that people who make less than a million generally do not get audited as the IRS is supposedly way understaffed.

You don’t buy a lot initially, you buy a smaller amount, see how long it takes to sell, then buy more accordingly. Amazon runs out of stock all the time. Watch a #1 sales rank listing for a few days and see how the buy box moves.
