Sir Thanks for your wonderful videos series. Plz explain importance of splitting beam into 3 parts vs single beam member.

Thank you for your encouraging words. No, you do not actually need to split the beam. I had to split the beam because I had applied the point loads as nodal loads. However, you can still use the Member Concentrated forces that would not need you to split the beam - however, the Shear Force Diagram would be approximate in this case. I would explain this particular case as we go along in the course.
