I live on a remote island in southeast Alaska with plenty of adventure and challenges. I don’t know what the Delos crew dose to recharge and find inspiration to keep going. I watch sailing videos, primarily Delos, Uma and Atticus. The three of you do such a good job of raising the mundane up to the states of adventure, and showing the adventure as being a manageable part of life. I often find myself asking what would the crews do? Then crawl under the house to fix the leak, or build the thing for the green house, because that’s what a sailor would do. Thanks for the constant inspiration, showing all of us that kids are adaptable and that life is an adventure. Fair winds and following seas, and no more bent and broken stuff. I look forward to the upcoming brilliant fix🤠

Just love following you guys on Delos! Kazza - what a wonderful Sailor Mum! Brian just loved watching your mouth as you poored your stiff - well earned drink - priceless. Jordan great crewman in challenging weather. I remember 50+ knots over the deck just off Michalmas Island out of Albany, Western Australia 40 years ago- middle of the night - big swells - white water everywhere! 8 crew - 6 down below in their bunks totally disabled with sea sickness. The steel keel came loose and we were taking water - knee high in the salon! White water everywhere - skipper at the helm and me trying to secure the life raft which had come loose on the coachroof. We made it into Albany the next day bruised and battered but safe. Great sailing Delos crew and the little Nugget what a joy to behold. Can't wait for your next episode

I am not a sailor, but as long as we're in line with the waves, we're good. The moment we go on the side, the waves can flip. Its a good thing you were along the coast and the waves were pushing your boat from behind and giving you speed. Later for a while you experienced some very nasty winds 55 Kn to 60 Kn and the pole broke and slammed. Very scary. Luckily, you wete almost near the harbor/shore. Take care guys, get the weather updates in advance.
