Keep in mind that this guy has an established following and brand. That is the only way he’s getting away with marking up almost 30% just for labor. (27.865%) He uses frankly mid components (psu, storage, ram) and just because they are white they cost more lol. Cpu is weak af for 700+. It’s frankly ridiculous people buy these systems when it takes next to no skill or knowledge to build pcs. There is no barrier of entry like specialized tools, or expansive knowledge like working on cars or being a doctor for example, so I don’t think you can justify such a mark up for just building it.

That's a nice build mate, though as I'm an everything over aesthetics chap I would have spent the cable extension money on a Thermalrite Assassin cooler, I just replaced my Spire cooler with one and my 6 core is running cool and quiet. My crude LED temperature gauge (PCB LEDS) hasn't moved above green since I fitted it.

I used to have r5 1600 and when I upgrade to 3600, I noticde the stock cooler was much bigger than the new one on 3600 and has proper copper on it. So I just used the old one with 3600 and sold the 1600 with the new cooler. not that much differ in performance but it just looked more nice being taller and all.

@@cryptocavern6614 yes but I think the original poster is talking about an APU build with no GPU which I wouldn't recommend, a RX 580 8gb would be faster then using the 5600g for graphics. Ryzen 5600 is faster than a 5600g in more ways than just being pcie 3.0. 5600g isn't really a 5000 series CPU, it's a 3000 series CPU with added graphics and then marketed as if it's a 5000 series CPU. So a 5600g really is no faster than a 3600.

Would you consider putting in the tax and shipping costs in your total to give a more accurate representation of what the cost was? Very few pc building channels do that and I think it could be a turn off for people going to replicate a build and then being surprised by having to spend an additional $100 or so for tax and shipping.

I always include the shipping prices, but never the tax. There are states that have 0% sales tax, and some are in the double digits. PA is right in the middle of that, so I just don't include it.

Normally you can order a "Restocked Build" any ole time but he's currently restructuring those builds, making new configurations with different parts and building processes. So those will be out of stock for at least the rest of 2023. The one-off builds that he makes videos about are sold on the 1st of each month and they sell out mega fast.
