He was. This whole thing helped Liam through it, to such a degree that he now actively campaigns for using D&D and other roleplaying games as a form of therapy.

I love how the Raven Queen describes Vax as the one who brings people together and guides them on paths ("you bend threads near and around you") since it was Liam who made this DnD party happen.

can u do the moment that Vax flies for the first time and catches Scanlan?

It happens quite differently in the campaign vs the animated series. The wings don't show up until 2 episodes after the Umbrasyl fight. Gilmore seems to figure it out when Vax asks him about the armor and pushes him off a ledge in Whitestone, activating the wings. As it played out in the campaign during the dragon fight, As they all fall, Scanlan polymorphs Grog into an eagle, and Vax lands on his back for the save.
