If you're near White cloud on 131 Couple miles south of exit 131 there's a nice truck stop it's quiet plenty of parking with a laundromat and Subway Couple pinball machines inside the laundromat kind of nice. 🤟👌🤙👍👍

Watched the last video, cooking on stove, buying that truck was best thing you can do for yourself. All the best, hope your totally over that virus. driving with Schmidt’s, and fsc trucking they both should have their sleepers replaced , like the one you have. Then that German Shepard would have real room. And they can have a shower and good cooking like you. All though little harder on a cab over. Only saw one cab over with that type of sleeper.

Having a sleeper with a kitchen and a bathroom is the best thing ever for break time. Living on fast food and truck stop showers really stinks. Did over the road for most of my driving career. 32 years worth. Have a good run to Alabama and I hope you get around the storm. Greasy side down.

Good video Dan. I have seen a couple of videos showing coils breaking free on emergency breaking...not a pretty picture. I know there is a major weight difference between your load and steel coils, but still securing them in the right way is critical. Travel easy!

Great video! I have found it to be a lot easier on an old man (like me) if you pull the chains on the ground and then throw the spools on the trailer. :-) Most places don't have any issue waiting for you and some of the places we pick up spools would rather we did it that way. i had to load a coil on a lowboy, very heavy but a legal load, pulled six chains using their tool, paid real good, both side of the coil sat over the frame of the lowboy. didn't ever get a coil again. pull toy here
