You put two tones , tri-tones and graphics on vehicles like vans that have large relatively flat panels. On body styles with lots of shape , you put one colour, preferably an effect like Candy because they enhance the shape instead of detracting from it. The truck is great, the paint is great...but it does detract from those fat shapes of the 56 F-100.

Hi Mark. This is not my truck; I just shot the photos and video. But as you know at the end of the day, it's the builder's choice and it's all subjective. This paint was probably a decade old (my guess) and for me, not colors I would have chosen. I too would have leaned to one spectacular color with perhaps a tiny touch of an accent color or limited striping. I've seen these look stunning in deep black, dark root-beer, midnight blue, cream, silver, seafoam, deep candy cherry and well you get it; it's subjective. Thanks for your opinion!
