56098 Playing a PAXMAN Tune! Plus 47712 and other LOCOS at Stafford 25/10/23

Great to here the Paxman engine roar! See 56098 accelerating through Stafford after a slow trundle into the approach to Platform 5 at Stafford.
47712 makes an appearance light engine also, plus a mix of other loco moves with plenty of WCML boxes and also a southbound Castle Cement working headed to Avonmouth.

you cannot beat a screaming grid they remind me a bit of a valetta engine in the original class 43 hst's screaming through Wakefield Westgate in the 1980s I was only a kid and they was scary lol 😆 I used to go to Tinsley and Knottingley spotting every Sunday we drove up from Manchester about 1985 they was the better days for spotting! Great video I am heading over this way friday I see there is 88003 on 4S44 that is the only one I need so hopefully it stays on that diagram. Think 56098 has just headed up to Tuebrook this afternoon over 80 mins late.

Fantastic video,Myself and my uncle and our two friends went to Stafford yesterday from 09.20 til 17.45 too,When the Freightliner 70 came through,my friend in green was in front of you on same platform i was on other platform 3/4 :-)

Great sound from the grid,brings back memories of the 80s/90s for me when that was a regular sound not a rarity! A great shame Buddleia is a protected species of plant on the rail network these days..... 😞
