560SL - Installing the Radiator, Fan and Coolant Hoses

In this video, I install the radiator, the fan clutch, and the fan, as well as all the hoses and coolant. I include part numbers for most everything. Remember that I will be going live on KZbin this coming Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (Arizona is -7 GMT).

The coolant I used was PEAK OET Extended Life Blue 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant for European Vehicles. This particular coolant is for pre-2014 Mercedes:

I replaced the hose clamp that holds the bottom hose on to the air pump with a 1-1/2" stainless steel clamp. This fit perfectly in my opinion:

Which cooling water is good, will using ordinary water have a bad impact on the car later?

Tap water has too many minerals and other contaminants which can/will harm your cooling system. I use distilled water only!
