Just FYI the reason there is no front sling mount is because that slot you bolted that swivel into is an M-Lok slot that accepts a wide variety of attachments including things like sling mounts and bipods. The version with the wooden forend has a front sling swivel near the end of the barrel but the synthetic version you have is meant to use an M-Lok sling mount.

I couldn’t resist this at my local shop/range. It runs well and is quite fun. My only 2 criticisms: Both sights were off because they were not on the utmost top of the barrel. I disassembled a bit of the gun and twisted the barrel a smidge, so now they are fine. Also, what’s up with those industrial size Phillips head screws in the receiver?!! Yeah, price point I guess. BTW, The Mossberg 702 peephole/post iron sights (from Tech Sights) should fit this, as they fit my Rossi semi-auto 22.
@robertgodhard3248 Жыл бұрын
Lever action,like pump and bolt-squeezes every last "drop" from every round,especially 22.
@FireSkittlez852 жыл бұрын
Nice thing about this is trusting lever actions has much more tangible results than semi-automatics. I have a Henry and a Savage, latter being the semi, it just jams if you load too much or underpowered ammo gets shot in it. This just solidifies my want to get a handful of these to shoot and wear it out. Hand it down to my little ones. I hope to see you put up a pump rossi video up.

Just bought one today. A little shorter and a little lighter than my Henry in 22. A little cheaper looking too? Maybe. But then again you're not going to stress about playing rough with this baby compared to a gorgeous Henry. And the sights are more user-friendly than traditional sights. If someone doesn't like the cross-bolt safety, then they don't have to use it. There's still a quarter cock safety. And the action? No complaints. Depends on what you want out of a gun whether traditional or something more "tactical". I love my Henry, but I think I'll be taking Rossi out to the range a bit more often.

Like you, we shoot different brands of bulk through our rifle...i have no doubt if we settled on just one brand (and it doesn't really matter which brand) we could shoot 1 inch groups all day long...the gun does have that much accuracy, and maybe 1 inch at 50 yards...with bulk ammo the group will spread considerably at 100 yards to 3-5 inches, but better ammo could take an inch or two off that...the ultimate accuracy guys could probably squeeze a 100 yard group down to an inch, but my counter argument is I'd never see the d_mn squirrel at that distance to begin with...for old eyes squirrel range out to maybe 25-30 yards, the gun can do that easily...

@@dj3114 actually I believe we saw the same video. I stopped watching after I saw that too but I came back to finish the video and that was not the case. They guy later said that he didn't have to hit the release anymore

True, and I have a Henry also, which I love. But take a look over at my channel to see how my Rio Bravo is fitted out. It’s my (tongue-in-cheek) tactical .22!

@Ted Halko not bad Brother. It's my favorite even over my Heny boy Frontier, henry silverboy. I believe 350 is worth this bad boy. Good luck and God bless.

Have the same gun and I love it but damn my grandmother shoots better even without all the bracing

common sense would tell you the gun isn't sighted in and that's not him just intentionally missing or being a bad shot

I would think the 1st task is to get a decent zero with good ammo...then blow up the bulk without touching the sights...or did I miss something...?
