I started out deer hunting when I was 18 with a Winchester 70 CSLT in ‘06. I never understood the draw to lever actions. Always thought they were minute of softball in the accuracy department. How wrong I was. Many years later I was traded a JM Marlin 1895 for a 4 wheeler. It started a love affair that I still have to this day. .22, 30-30, 35 Rem, 38/357 Mag, 44 Mag, 444 and 45-70, my JM Marlin collection grows almost every year. Man have prices gone up!! If I’m chasing hogs, my 444 or 45-70 are on my shoulder. I’ve yet to have a hog take a single step after soaking up one of those 300-350gr flat points. And my 44 Mag is my go to deer rifle. Light, handy, and 10+1 of 44mag is no slouch. Don’t get me wrong, bolt guns, semi-autos, and AR’s are great. But the lever action is where it’s at for me.

Not sure if this question has been asked before?? Who cleans up your target area???? HA HA. Not sure which one lever action I would choose, possibly the 44 Magnum. Lots of reloads on this end.

One of John Moses Browning's first semi-auto prototypes was a lever action rifle with a large 'paddle' in front of the muzzle! Muzzle-blast pushed the paddle, which operated a linkage that ran the action of the rifle. A return spring returned the paddle to battery, thus closing the action. It wasn't portable but it proved that cartridge energy alone was enough to operate the loading cycle of the rifle. His 'potato digger' machine-gun owes a lot to the early lever-gun experiments.

I respect scott and don't begrudge him for securing that bag. But Kamikoto knives are absolute garbage and made of low grade steel that doesn't keep an edge. You can find plenty of videos on why these aren't worth the asking price all over youtube.

Straight up not true If you look at any reviews they say the knifes are completely fine.

@@LasagnaMAXyou realize reviews can be faked, right? and it’s really common at that

I'm sure they're better than my big box store knives but advertising them as made from Japanese steel is not a good selling point.

I got a set of Kamikoto knives that I use for food prep and cooking all the time. They have remained razor sharp for over 2 years now and I have never had to sharpen them.
