Why would an acoustic accordion need microphones? Also you're a phenomenal player.

So it can be connected to an amplifier if you need more powerful sound than the instrument itself is capable of (during the stage play or so). Yes you can just put a microphone in front of the player, but internal microphones are less sensitive to external noise and you can also use a wireless conection so the player is able to move with the instrument during his play etc.
