Hi Dan. Hope you can get the time to fix the AC. I can’t imagine driving in the southwest or even in the heat/humidity of the south without AC. The drive across ‘the woods’ as you call the non-interstate roads was pretty. Very green! Stay safe and try to stay cool.

I admire the way you are able to integrate yourself and truck into the traffic, delivery situation, or unexpected situations. Very professional behavior with very predictable results; success and no drama. Then to spend the time editing and publishing your efforts on line seems like an awful high workload daily. Thanks so much for all that extra effort your channel requires in order that we may enjoy viewing.

Again, you are a great example of a truck driver. Due to the fact that you can troubleshoot issues with the truck. Most driver's would just bring it to a mechanic and get screwed.great music also! Hi Bailey 😁.

I do Heavy Haul/Specialized for Public Utility, I've hauled more big cable reels than I could count. The vast majority of the reels I carried were steel reels were 78" tall and 72" wide and weighed about 10,000-12,000 each, put 7 on a 48' 3 axle flat. They were loaded on the floor, 4x4 block in front of the forward reel, 4x4 block behind the rear reel, all 1/2= chains, 2 chains on reels #1, #4 and #7, rims of each reel clamped to the next reel on both sides. Reels always rode great, never loosened a bit. I did bigger reels as heavy as 20,000 each but those were taller and went on a lowboy. Fun stuff, never a dull moment.

Hello Dan how are you I watch your channel just to let you know been a trucker for 38 years work for the same company but I had a side business I owned 2001 379 Peterbilt with an 18 speed 271 inch wheelbase didn’t pull a flatbed pull the reefer but I had an N14 in it kicked all the way up to 500 hp it was a good tractor then then the recession hit got rid of the trailer cut the tractor up and turned it into a super 10 dump truck all the while hiring drivers drive for me while I kept my job now I have a 18-year-old son who wants to become a trucker trying to talk him out of it but he won’t listen in the meantime had to get rid of the truck when your recession hit as for myself I’m done driving 68 years old now time to enjoy life keep it between the lines stay safe I look forward to your next video

Dan, I had a spring break on my long hood as well. What I found was the hood pin bushings where blown out. Along with the bushings that the hood mounts to on the hood j hooks. Once i replaced all those bushings the hood no longer vibrates going down the road and now has put less stress on the hood springs. I bought the pins and bushings from amazon. It was cheaper than buying them from dealer. Plus they are the neoprene style. Not just the cheap rubber ones from factory. Also you dont need to remove the entire hood to replace them either. All I did was open hood supported the top nose with boards. Just in case. But did one side at a time. Took a couple of hours as the 2 bolts on the j hook had rusted together. So to prevent that again I used grade 10 bolts along with coating the bolts in a good layer of antiseize.

YOU NEED a FOX and HOUND electrical circuit tracer. The Transmitter is applied to a circuit anywhere and the Recievers can follow the applied signal along the wire to a short or and open. Amazon sells the automotive one I have for trucks and buses. The other one is for telephone and house circuits.

Great day and another great video. To Dan and all other truckers following. At the risk of shutting down the internet, starlink and others, I have a very good job offer that includes no touch freight, decent pay and benefits, great kenworth equipment. But MX13 /paccar powertrain with automatic. (I've never driven auto) Usually pushing the 75 to 80k , are they as gutless as some say? Thanks guys and gals.

Morning. Give the old coil racks to a newer driver. Just my suggestions

Your shipper must have gotten sick and tired of drivers showing up to load without coil racks. They decided the liability issues outweighed the cost of buying and handing out racks to drivers. Your good fortune!!
