I like how small this video makes me feel. not small in a worthless way, but a kind of contentment in my insignificance, the promise of a world which is bigger and better than I can imagine, which I have the pleasure to simply exist in, having no pressure to fill it up as I never can, but simply to be in it, a spot on the horizon.

Watching this video on the last day of my solo backpacking voyage I can't explain how much this hits home. This was exactly the realization I had found abroad. Living in New York I am absolutely suffocated by people, environment, ideas that are not mine. They fill me up and if I'm lucky I can get a moment to process how I truly feel about it all. I lose touch of reality, what makes life so magical. As a creative person, the simplicity in the clips you used in this video is the core of where beautiful creation comes from. Essentially just the stripped-down version of our overexposed lives, that's where true life takes place.
