@34:30 the marine didnt move for a turn, so it activated entrenched to give him +5 vision and weapon range until he moves again. Thats why you got sudden vision of the gate prime

The strange thing is that I know a couple of the squad have abilities like that (even if I don't always remember the details) and yet that doesn't stop me from being surprised whenever it happens during a mission!
@Solmyr777 ай бұрын
@@TapCat Another ability you keep forgetting is that some classes have the ability to get full cover benefit from half cover (I believe at least specialists and medics can get it). So you don't need to put everyone in full cover, some of them can hide just as well behind a knee-high fence! :)

The sectoid with an invisibility potion for as long as he lived he never moved he knew his place, jokes aside you think instead of being inside the container he was rather up the container?

Maybe all computer games is part of the same multiverse and it's is some kind of weird Baldur's Gate 3/XCOM 2 crossover?

I did suspect that he might not actually be standing where the game was showing him. But if that's true, I could begin to say where he actually was so your guess is as good as any.

Hello Mr. Tap 😅. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for making your guides and showing your gameplay.I'm just playing on second lowest difficulty, but it's a step up from my rookie playthroughs which I fumbled really bad xD. But thanks to your tips, I am able to enjoy XCOM like I never did before. English isn't my first language,sorry for that. Thank you ❤

Reloading the level usually fixes the visual bugs.

Man, that would have been a very good idea and I can honestly say that it never so much as entered my mind while I was playing
@SIUNIT067 ай бұрын
Others have already said reloading the mission will fix the visual bug. The other "soft" fix is if you have a soldier with Slash, it will pivot to the tile where the enemy is actually on as well, but you'd have to remember which tile it was.

Well done. It's been fun to see what kind of xcom agents we've developed for the last stages of the campaign. See you in a couple days.

I always enjoy this part of a campaign for that exact reason. Your squad has finally come into its own and is capable of dealing with some pretty extreme threats like we saw in this mission. It's quite a change from the start of the campaign and very satisfying.

Must be a bit irritating that the only wound was cause by the sectoid bug

I later remembered that I did take 2 points of damage from one of the Advent guys, so I wouldn't have had a flawless run even without the bug. Either way, I was pretty happy with the outcome given all of the craziness.

@@Lena_Hansen_Jonsson Actually, the character is named after me. :) I was active in the HoMM2 community back in the day, and when they were making HoMM3, they used a bunch of community members' nicknames to name heroes.

@@Solmyr77 Are you pulling my leg? And my braid? And my sock? And my dog's ear :D? (This is as close to talking with a celebrity as I have ever got :D!)
@TapCat7 ай бұрын
That totally makes sense, because while we fought a lot of Advent it was nowhere near 25. I don't know why, but I've never even thought about the count including lost before. I only ever think of it in terms of "normal" enemies but now that you say it, it seems so obvious!
@Solmyr777 ай бұрын
@@Lena_Hansen_Jonsson No, I'm not. I've had the nickname "Solmyr" since 1992 (he was originally my mage character in AD&D Forgotten Realms). I was somewhat active on the Astral Wizard's website in the 1990s and made a few maps for HoMM2. NWO published HoMM3 in 1999 and some time before release they used the nicknames of some community members (with permission) for heroes in the new game. Astral is also a wizard hero in HoMM3. :) If you google "astral wizard's website homm2" you should find some info.
