I could visualize that last spool pin on that heavy false set. Good job picking that monster. Too me Locks that give that severe false set make it easier to pick not harder. You know as soon as it moves that far that the lock is already 80% picked. Find the false set pin and slowly work it back and boom, open.. BTW. Love those lighted followers. What do I have to do to get one??

@BobbyKeyz why do you put a shim in the core if you’re putting a follower in?

I always use a shim. Its habit. Theres a gap were the clip goes and if your gutting a challenge lock with sharp pin like a pin in pin or tee pin it can easily get stuck in the gap. You can mess up everything lol. You never know what's in a lock. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Ok...makes sense. I never opened a challenge lock, just stock locks.
