Probably 25 years ago there was a new project being built on lava cap and the GC brought in a 575a to rip it and it was amazing to watch that monster!!! Looking back, I was very fortunate to see one of these operating in person. Thanks for the video

I just looked at the landfill on Google Earth. You can still see the 575 sitting in the equipment area, not sure how old the photo is though. From what I have read, the 575s have not proven to be the most reliable machines, and many are being prematurely retired. I would like to see one operating.
@alspeers69313 жыл бұрын
So untrue, these machines put up ridiculous high hours against the most overloaded and constant 100% crazy heavy ist conditions all year long year after year and still kept pushing and going

4 big dozer... where's filmed?
@steveducell215811 жыл бұрын
why is the operator making a short cut then moves back farther to make a longer cut? seems like he is going over the same ground twice? just curious.....
@s.espi.16185 жыл бұрын
If you watch closely, you'll see when he backs up there's different elevations..all though it Looks flat, it isn't. Watch the dozer 'Teeter' back n forth while traveling in reverse and the blade up. He's trying to get back far enough to flat ground. Then he lowers the blade and starts removing the 'High Spots' in his lane. When he's dozing you will see him raise the blade which pushes the nose down until it catches up to where he raised the blade. I hope I'm not confusing you... but as he dozes, or while in reverse, you can see the entire dozer 'Teter' back n forth....this is why he begins the cut lightly then when the dozer teeters back he pushes the blade downward to keep the run as flat as he can. This way it doesn't beat up the dozer, Nor the operator. I hoped this helped explain.
@rossgray30705 жыл бұрын
The material is quite hard to cut so by doing one push to get one blade full loose then backs up and gets another blade full and then pushes the two together. When you are going to push a long distance you need to be moving as much as you can get in front of the blade, its the standard way of dozing over long distances.

Hi, Folks. They are a BIGG 'dozer BUTTTT, from what I can gather, they are not the most reliable or long-lasting machine ever to burn diesel fuel or move a yard of dirt - - - in spite of what Komatsu would like us to believe. Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

monster dozer...... they quit making them or still in production?
@rossgray30704 жыл бұрын
Last one was delivered in 2013 to West Australia, think they do make them but only to order. Have heard the Chinese are buying them and refurbishing them for some of their projects in China. Next thing there will be a Shantui or XCMG copy of the 575 on the market.

@@rossgray3070 not copy but licensed reproduction. I believe shantui or liugong as xcmg is more into other mining vehicles.
