I always prefer rest areas over truck stops...mainly because I get better sleep because of less noise, easier to get in and out of... and truck stops are more prone to accidents.

Thanks Dan, Teresa and Bailey. Dan try not to give your power/energy over to worry, it is very non-productive ans makes a waste of time you could spend on something else, like giving a friend or family member a call that you have not talked to in a while to reconnect. The asphalt pathways can be a lonely place to lose your roots, which seems to be more important as we get older.

Hi Dan. So happy to see Bailey’s doing well. We used to always help guys fold (and lift) tarps and it was amazing how very much appreciated that was. But it kinda worked both ways. It helped get them out on the road and made room sooner for us to do our work and for the next truck. Stay safe.

I was with my uncle at a steel plant in Indiana, we pull down in this long alley and my uncle says I hope we can get turned around, we get down there and the crane operator says you want to go out the hard way or the easy way, he said easy he goes hook your chains up to the rub rails and put em on the hook, picked the whole truck up turned it around, couldn't believe it.
