It'd be interesting to hear peoples experiences of the MH when 7 up! Can't imagine it being easy at busy times of day like when getting up/going to bed and during meal times. You'd need to get on really well on rainy days!

The bunks in the back are very clever. I wondered how they fit all that in but they were able to move everything back a foot or two because there's no double bed in the back. Not sure how a family of six would spend a rainy week in this, but just for transport, dining and sleeping this is brilliant! Thanks for the tour!

Hi Nick. Like the dedicated double cab over bed. Roomy interior and plenty of seating. The channel has come a long way since the STX 12m RV which has 1.4 million views. These smaller ones driven on a car license is great. Awesome video thanks 😊

Why do they put the entry door on the off side ?

@@stevewakefield1490 Because it's a continental model, not UK built, and not built for the UK market other than using a right hooker chassis.

This one seems to have a better internal arrangement and inclusions, and can seat and sleep more people than the Knaus Boxstar600 Street XL. It has a wider entrance and the inside headroom is not impaired by the bulkhead bed when fully pulled out. It has a three- burners stove as campare to the two of the Boxstar and it also has a microwave oven. Both motorhomes use the same Fiat engine @140 hp and chasis. Despite seemingly better arrangement it is also 16,000 british pounds cheaper. This is what better value for money is all about.

Hi Nick seems these are becoming more competitively priced recently . I’m still waiting to see you take one out on the road , so we can get your opinion on the driving aspect ie visibility , handling , comfort . All important if your thinking of putting it on your short list . Best wishes as always. 😀👍👍👍

7 berth, 7 seater for 58k ? That'll do ! I like the rectangular hob set back to give more worktop. Good use of space.

I know torque moves weight but I’m always surprised how little horsepower these RV’s have. I’d think 200ish would be ideal. I know speed isn’t the goal but merging onto a highway, or in certain other situations that may arise, you kind of want it to move. My 87’ RX-7 has about the same HP and probably weighs a third of this. Still, very impressive machine and great tour as always!

I guess with these 3-5 tonne motorhomes it would be very easy to overload them especially with that huge storage area under the rear bunks

At the risk of seeming overcritical... what's the payload on that van? If I heard correctly, it's plated at 3500KG, and at 7 metres, I doubt its unladen weight is much under 3000KG - so a payload of 500KG will be its max, and that's basically unusable for a party of two adults and five kids, considering that one of the adults (say 80kg) and the five kids (say 40KG each on average) are part of the payload. Add in a tank full of fuel and half a tank of water, and you're stuck for food, clothes and bikes etc. It's more important than you think...

Oh Nick, come on. You would never get two people sleeping in that dinette? The bunk bed on that plyboard, I'm no heavyweight but wouldn't want to trust sleeping on a cm of plyboard? And constantly with some of these vans, why does the door open onto the trafic? Now one van previously had the steering wheel on the wrong side, but this one is clearly UK based. Any road you pull in on that door opens to traffic, crazy. Thanks for your tour in pointing out all these. Love the overhead sleeping space though.

To be fair it says seven berths but by the time you put seven people and a tin of beans in it you will be overweight - as for going to the loo it will be full every morning and need emptying. Like boats if it says 6 berth its good for 2, if it says 8 berth its ok for 4 etc etc

I believe 'Ingenious' is the word aptly suited for this fantastic vehicle. Absolutely love this. Although I always wish and would love to see the dinette unfolding to a bed to actually see and get an idea as to how two people would really be able to sleep comfortably on it. Maybe because of the wide camera angle I feel that those spaces would appear different in real life. Nonetheless, a great presentation as always. Thank you Nick~! :)

I'm pretty surprised that they only made the bunk bed rated for 70kg/154lbs. I'm a fairly small person and there's no way I'd be comfortable sleeping on a bed only rated for 10-15lbs/5-7kg over my weight. Also, is there any chance that UK motorhome builders would be able to make models "Americanized" with left hand drive?
