Yeah after I got the Pat’s system my top link is only good for level or dig in. Looks like it turned out pretty good 👍 Have a great week 🚜💨💡😁👍

Spent the morning doing same thing. I have the lp land plane. Works well
@HillsideAcres3 жыл бұрын
land plane looks really nice, I think I may consider buying one or even fabbing one up in the future. I think it would be better once I get some less coarse material in there too! Thanks for watching Chris!

@@HillsideAcres I couldn’t see paying over a grand for a land plane. I fabbed one up out of scrap 10” C-channel & angle iron. I’ll shoot you a couple pictures of my build on FBM. Simple welding project.
@HillsideAcres3 жыл бұрын
@@jdub229r That is cool that you made your own. There really isnt much to them. Hopefully steel costs will come down soon to make projects like that a little more cost efficient!

You need another pole barn just for a garage. Too many toys 😅. I love my l2501 the land pride bb1266 I have for it it gets busy! I grade people’s new residential lots with it frequently. If I ever own another Kubota it will be a cab version though. Need A/C in Utah.

I really wish I had some a/c sometimes. The new building will have 40x70 shop space with 16’ side walls! Thanks for watching.

What you are calling a York rake, I have always heard called a gill rake here. I have a friend that has told me that I need to get one instead of the king drag that I use to drag the horse lot. Another good video Richie. See you for the next one.

Thanks for watching Gary, York rake or landscape rake is how I know it, we have a 7’ arena vator harrow for the riding arena.

I like the idea of removing every other tine on the landscape rake - The rake did a lot of work - I bought a rake for my tractor but did not like the results as it would move the stone to the sides - I like what I saw with your project using the rake - thanks for sharing - unfortunately you created another project for me - LOL - have a great day - cheers

I finally put the hydraulic top link on the tractor in the spring . Best thing I ever did . Never coming off the tractor . For grading with the blades and other implements it’s a game changer .👍 When using the box blade pushing backwards it is like a shock absorber on the tractor also. Like that big kubota 👍
@HillsideAcres3 жыл бұрын
The hydraulic top link would be nice but I don’t have any remotes on the 2501! majority of what I use on the M series is carted equipment. Hydraulic side link would be really nice as well! Thanks for watching Stephen!

The 2501 is the perfect driveway maintenance tractor! I like to push backwards for final dressing gravel with a box blade, it gives good finished results usually. A few more tons of gravel definitely would help you out it looks like! Take care!

yeah it definitely needs some finer material in there but it’s a lot better than the mud pit that it was in the spring time. Thanks for watching Ben!

Another great one bud! I’m super impressed with the L2501. I mowed some stuff today with mine as tall as the tractor and it didn’t bog down once. Even ran over some mesquite trees, it ate them like candy. Continues to surprise me, my Ford 2600 with same mower bogs down more in the thick stuff. I really think they are more powerful than the specs say. I’ve got a 60 hp Ford 420 too but they all sit now that I use the kubota so much.
@HillsideAcres3 жыл бұрын
Happy to hear that you enjoyed the video. Getting feedback like that really means a lot and is greatly appreciated. The 2501 has far exceeded my expectations I thought that it would have been very under powered but would have still fit our needs for a smaller tractor, I can’t believe how much use it gets !

Everything costs money lol Its just a matter of what you're going to spend it on lol. Im somewhat trying to be frugal lately with the new building going up and we are also going to most likely be building a small log home to live in on the back of the property but not completely decided on that yet. Don’t say that too loud, this is blasphemous in the tractor community. “Bigger bigger better.”
