I have an uncreepy janitor story. In elementary school, about 40 years ago got this old chic, we had a janitor who was a retired Army WWII vet. He’d been a POW and told us stories in our history classes about the war. Well, one day a little girl was in the middle of being abducted right after school as we were all coming out and I guess in the excitement for being the end of the day, no one noticed. He did. Next thing we knew a flash of this silver-haired 6’3” older janitor had the abductor pinned to the sidewalk and was pounding the guy into mush. He held him down until security got there in a few secs along with the principal and the duty teachers. The cops were there in what seemed like 5 seconds. When they questioned the janitor apparently he said he just never lost his second sense of danger and always kept an eye on us kids. He was a gentle giant who could be lethal if the occasion presented. The cops were informed of his valor and thanked him profusely for his service to our country & for saving the girl and catching the sleezeball who grabbed her . When the girl’s dad showed up about 10 minutes later so did he. He was our hero. We also had a janitor who had special needs & this janitor would take care of him and ensure the guy felt welcomed in the school, letting us kids know he’s not weird, just different. Us kids loved those janitors. We felt so safe. Thank you for your service, sir. May you RIP. I wish I could recall his name.

@@IdahoRanchGirl That's not true, it's a pill that sometimes gets crushed down for consumption if taken recreationally, like all drugs you have to get them into your body by mouth, nose, eyeball, or bloodstream (a shot) to be affected being near any drug isn't going to effect you unless it's a gas but most drugs and fentanyl are not a gas. It's important to not spread misinformation because it could stop people from helping during an OD and affects the way people think about addiction. They need treatment not jail , trauma is usually the underlying issue and addiction is the symptom.
