I still miss Art Bell's great voice in the night. There are some wonderful specialty podcasts now, and I am grateful for the internet. But it was something special listening to Art Bell & guests talking *LIVE* late at night on AM radio about ghosts, UFO encounters, unexplained everything as well as anecdotes about his cats, knowing that others across the country, awake in the wee hours, were listening at the same time. May he rest in peace.

Lived in Paramp Nevada 2014-2018 for 4 years. I really liked living in Pahrump. Rented a manufactured home on about 1.5 acres of land. Very peaceful, surrounded by mountains, so quiet. One of my very favorite things was waking just at sunrise and sit with my cup of coffee and listen to the birds singing . I would watch raven parents teaching their young to hunt and fly. It was so quiet out, you could here the wind going through their feathers as the ravens would fly over me. Came back to California because my hubby and I became grandparents. Great memories.

I am so glad that you gave a shout out to Art Bell. I only have half a dozen or so legit heroes, and he was one of them. Coast to Coast is still on the air, but it is now hosted by a guy named George Noory. The network and George himself screwed Art, and the show is a hollow shell of what it used to be. A lot of people thought Art was a nutcase, but if you listen to his shows, you can hear the amount of belief he had in each of his callers. The true genius of his show is that he allowed his guests to talk, sometimes at length, without being a dick to them.
@edstevens44393 жыл бұрын
