Melissa must be one of the happiest people you ever see on KZbin. 90% of the time, she has a smile on her face. Can't help but make you feel better too! :) Mike, you were born exactly one day before I was. Happy B-day from central PA!

So, we can offer you kind of splitter which is automaticly.I can show you picture of that machines, cut the wood, splite the wood, then conveyor the wood, all by machines, that will save too much.

We heated the house with wood when I was a kid some 70 years back. We lived on a farm in Wisconsin. We burned the tops that were left after the logs were taken out of our woods. We cut the tops up with a buz-rig on the front of a B John Deere. We left the wood to dry. Later, we hauled it home and threw it into the basement through an access window. Most of the wood was burned in chunks but some of it was split. That was one of my chores every night after the livestock was fed. We had some well used wedges and a maul. It was good exercise before homework.

@Melissamorgan thanks for the breast cancer support. My wife was born with retinal blastomia (childhood eye cancer) which eventually took her sight. Then in 2015 she had to have a double mastectomy. She is a massage therapist and we had to close our office. I cut and sell firewood to try and help make ends meet. She does some massages at home or ppl houses cause we can not afford to reopen office. I love the set up y'all use. Wish Chris needed someone down here in the south to do demos for him. Y'all do such a great job with the videos. Tell kids the Towerys say hello. God bless and keep America Great!

A gorgeous day - cutting and splitting firewood…..just being outdoors in the crisp Fall air. Life Is Good.
@stevemartinez67575 жыл бұрын
Very nice! The setup is perfect for you since you do sell firewood (something in the back of my mind for the future). For now I'll stick with my less efficient yet effective process of using a smaller splitter for firewood for ourselves and a couple of close friends. To get that much done would probably be a couple of hour affair... but we don't mind. Spending time outdoors processing our green renewable resource is rather enjoyable. I'm just glad that the temperatures here in North Florida are falling to a comfortable level (high 50's early 60's in the morning with a high of around 80).

Good morning to the both of you folks ! Great set up you have and like you said, the cutting takes longer out of a pile like that. You’re making it work for you though and that’s what counts. Keeps you busy and healthy too ! Have a good time going out and working on the tower blind Saturday. Looking forward to that video too. Hoping to see the Hunter laughing clip also if someone talks someone into posting it. 😉😉🤞. Really do enjoy ANY and all the time we get to watch The Morgan family videos. Thanks for sharing with us.

Mike another great video bucking logs to length putting in pile cut and split in one location instead of cutting up logs in bush loading them unloading splitting and stacking is alot of work. Bucking logs to length bringing them to cutting splitting location is the way to go. Have wondered for a while the size that you split your wood down to is this preference growing up burning wood we always split to larger size that we did not have to keep checking stove and lasted longer over nite. MELISSA said that the amount of wood you had done in the time was good and you were a keeper I think that for you or any one to have a wife or partner that does what she does you are a very lucky man. keep the videos coming/

Then best in long day was. 2 guys. Cutting out of forwarder grapple and splitting with. 6way power wedge splitter. Cut and split 14 cords. Loaded 7 and delivered. 2 loads on 3 cord truck. And 1 load on 1 cord truck. Cant think of name of splitter. Machine was sick.

Now that's the setup, all you need is a 3rd person. One cutting, one loading and one splitting and you will be done in no time! It still seems better watching you cut and split the wood in stead of me doing it. Just mine would never get done😀

I've cut more than enough wood out of stacks that I now appreciate the ease of using my diy version of the Timber Croc. Between that and a winch and picaroon style log handling system inspired by youtuber Tinkertime my log handling has become much easier and chopping is faster.
