After driving Kenworth t680's that location for the fridge is optimal you can reach around and grab a cool drink while in the driver's seat

So where do I put my clothes in that 58in bunk? I wished they would have kept one of the closest. I'm just waiting to see what one would look under a car hauler. I'm glad the cab is wider, that is a plus. That's what made westernstar attractive to me.

Thanks for the video. This remains a fancy set forward axle 567, which brings me to ask can we get the flat top in a 567 or 579? How about a 589 ultraloft? I truly wish Peterbilt would have gone with a unique dash for this truck, but I agree a 72 inch flat top 589 with the new 18 spd Eaton autoshift may be a big seller especially for tanker applications. The potential for you as a dealer to make the 589 a loyalty truck for some midsized fleets will also become an option as I’m sure the 589 will achieve better fuel performance than the 389. I look forward to driving one later this year, and would love to see a heavy haul spec’d tractor as I’m sure the 72” sleeper would really sell in that configuration. Again thanks for your video.

Standardizing, the 389 to my knowledge is the only narrow cab offer from PB. it will cost them less to run one kind of product instead of 2, the 389 doesn't sell as much as the 579 so gotta drop the less popular option. Before anyone says "aLl ThE oWnEr OpErAtOrS wIlL bUy ThE 379" O/O is a small porttion of the market these days, mega carriers basically call the shots. 🤷‍♂
