you should be able to "push" from the main by appending to the remote table. Maybe because you are using links, try just adding the table from the top ribbon

Great video as always. I have a database with over 40 tables that need to be updated in the same manner. Is there a way to do all of them at once without making 40 queries?

Yeah... you could write it all using VBA, make a function you can send the table name to and it will loop thru the fields in the table. You could manually list the tables or even use a loop to run thru the TableDefs collection. It's advanced stuff, but it could be done, sure.

You probably don't need all of those older historical records. You can probably archive some of it to another database to speed up your primary tables. I cover that in this Extended Cut video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYvRh5aJp8-Zgdk - either that, or you could upgrade your back-end to SQL Server which is much better at handling large volumes of data. A million records is a lot for Access, especially if it's not properly optimized.

@@599CD yes I cross referred and checked.. Its same.. I added database from external data. Then in query I appended from linked to table.. There are 4 records in server copy.. I added new record in remote copy. When I click sync in server.. Its adding 5 records.. 4 already available and 1 new record. So now is server I hav 9 records where 4 of them are duplicate.. I checked in properties.. Don't find to disable duplicate option.

What if you want to use Access on a tablet in an area without internet connection? Would this still work?

Nope. Only way you can use Access on a tablet is via a remote PC connection. There is no tablet-based version of Access.

Is this synchronize method will work in access 2016, actually remote access database saved in E drive this consider as a Lan path, Local access database in c drive, i have linked the E drive path tables into local access database, after that i have created one button synchronize, while click on synchronize button it must be updated in local to remote and remote to Local. please can you provide the VBA code
