I did something similar with my estimated oil change due dates for the 2022 calendar year, based on an average daily travel from the odometer, that will always change.

@@599CD though for now, that's in Excel. But with enough retraining on MS Office now, I will translate it to Access, for my year end summary, hooking monthly exports from Excel books into Access for import.

If we have a small customer basis, they pay for 8 appointments and these can be twice a week or once etc, how can we create a sheet that allows these dates to be changed so that when it comes to appointment 6 or 7, the customer will be flagged and we can remind them to book their next 8 appointments?

Also, if the client can't make a date and reschedules, how will that work?

did you know Access is broken there is a "laccdb file will not close on the server when I close" fault forums say something about an update that was pushed around Dec 21st that has just filtered down into the company. All access databases are down because the BEs' are on the network drives. Is there something we can do until Microsoft fixes their fix??? LOL

Interesting. The only major bug I'm aware of was this one: 599cd.com/TFIX

@@599CD yep that's the one I'm talking about. The BE won't close when the user gets out. And only one at a time can get in. They have been running fine for years. Even created simple testing data bases that fail to work correctly once the BE is moved to any network drive.
